La Cofradia Goes Casual

After a quick makeover La Cofradia in the Gables will debut their more casual look (no white tablecloths) and a Ceviche Bar with a happy hour on Thursday, May 7. The new Ceviche Bar Happy Hour will take place Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m, featuring wine, beer and cocktails, (like a pisco sour) as well as ceviches, all priced at $5.00 to $7.00. The restaurant is also introducing a daily $14 lunch special and has reduced dinner prices so that entrees are now $17-$26 (a good $5-$10 less than they used to be).

Actually already opened for lunch today. No tablecloths, and the furniture's been moved around some, but otherwise looks pretty much the same. Menu's actually not all that different either though possibly a bit gentler on the wallet.

going casual is a way to say as this palce is a long time wanna bee as encouraged by the remergege in menu but common sorry unless owners have 100 K to loose there is o chance I suggast major advertisng campaing and or another PR reality waste of time still want to be a reaity contact chef sherlock as would love to see make it as beyond negative comments I still look for a great possibility and if your concept is taht I am your biggest suppoter

I'll have to give this place another try for HH someday. Dont think I'll ever make it there for lunch though.

Sherlock - from the sounds of that paragraph, sounds like youve got a great business idea. Best of luck!
