The hullaboloo over Ahmadinejad's visit to Columbia yesterday made me nostalgic for my undergrad years. Good ole alma mater was once again the nexus of controversy. The whole event is rather unsavory and I don't think there's any way university Lee Bollinger or the school could have emerged from this mess without looking brazen or like a doormat.
